Team Legion of Racers E-sports will be competing in the pro category of the Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC) with the Mercedes-AMG GT3.
The IGTC will flag off in Bathurst on 20 May and will end at Indianapolis on 16 September.
With a prize pool of EURO 40,000 to be shared among the winners, Team LOR will be represented by Andika Rama Maulana, Dillan Tan, Moreno Pratama and Fadhli Rachmat.
Heading into the championships this year at the back of a tough season in 2022 with race incidents and network disconnections, the team is looking forward to a much stronger performance this time round.
Said LOR co-founder Melvin Moh, “The goal is definitely to do better than last season."
“We have a strong line up with Andika Rama, Dillan, Fadhli and Moreno and we believe we can fight with the top teams around the world.
“We will be working extremely hard over the course of the season to ensure we achieve the maximum performance in the races.”
The team has also decided to put its attention solely on one car this year instead of two to ensure it gets the maximum performance out of the drivers.
Added Team LOR team manager Syaukat Takuma, “I’m positive with the work that our drivers have put in over the last few weeks and I’m confident we can do well in the championship.
“Anything can happen in endurance racing and we will work hard as a team to maximize the opportunities that we have.”
