Legion of Racers (LOR) E-sports team members Dillan Tan and Andika Rama Maulana will be representing the team for the upcoming GT World Challenge Asia Esports Championship.
This will be the second year on the trot that both Tan and Andika will be representing Team LOR for the GTWC Asia Esports Championship, with both drivers set to pilot the Mercedes-AMG GT3.
In addition, Team LOR will be representing Mercedes-AMG as a Mercedes-AMG E-Sports Performance Team in the championship.
Said LOR co-founder Melvin Moh, “Firstly, it is a great honor for Legion of Racers to represent Mercedes-AMG as one of their Mercedes-AMG E-Sports Performance Teams and I would like to thank Mercedes-AMG for believing in us.
“The goal is to defend the title this year and we know we are up for a big challenge given how competitive the field is.
“Both Dillan Tan and Andika Rama will be working extremely hard and will be giving their best to fight for the championship.”
The five-round championships will begin in May at Imola and will end in September at the legendary Suzuka Circuit, with a prize pool of EURO4000 on offer for the winners in the pro category.
Added Andika, “First of all I'm really grateful to work together again with Mercedes-AMG.
“Last season was a complete success with our 1-2 finish in the Championship.
“This season will be a lot harder than previous one with many top esports teams and drivers in the Asia championship, but our goals remain the same, that is to win the championship.
“I’m hopeful to be able to produce the results with the team and the partnership with Mercedes-AMG.
Andika’s views were echoed by Tan, who said, “I’m ecstatic to be representing Mercedes-AMG again in the GTWC Asia Sprint championship.
“The competition will be tough with so many fast drivers but I will work hard with my team to defend my title.”
