The Legion of Racers will not be making any changes to their racing team for the 2023 season. All nine racers will retain their spots in the team as LOR focuses on stability and to keep the momentum going for the year ahead.
Andika Rama Maulana, Dillan Tan, Fadhli Rachmat, Luis Moreno, Moreno Pratama, Nigel Chuah, Ethan Yoh, Fadtris Isa and Zaim Rasyad will continue to carry the LOR flag across to competitions for the season ahead, given that the team had a stellar 2022.
“The performance that was shown in 2022 gave no reason to change the current line-up,” said Melvin Moh, LOR co-founder of Team Director of LOR’s Racing Team.
“The team has big goals for this season and will need to continue where we left off from 2022. We are currently the defending champions of the GT World Challenge Asia Esports, Toyota Gazoo Racing Singapore and Indonesia and will be looking to claim top honours again this year. 2022 was a good season for us with many achievements but as always, we are always looking for more. The goal this year is to win more races and titles and establish ourselves as one of the top teams in South East Asia.”
Apart from the GT World Challenge Asia Esports and Toyota Gazoo Racing, the LOR Racing team will also be looking to compete in renowned races and events like the Virtual Le Mans Series, Olympic Esports Week and other big competitions around the region.
Apart from the sim racing competitions, three members of the team – Dillan Tan, Andika Rama and Luis Moreno - will be also looking into real life racing on the physical track this year, given that travel restrictions have been lifted, and competitions have resumed.
Tan will be taking part in the ROK Cup while Rama will race at the BMWCCI Motorsport 2023. Filipino Luis is slated to take part in the Makabayan Endurance Race Challenge Series.
In addition to the racing line-up, LOR also will be continuing its partnership with Next Level Racing, Logitech G, Motul, Tarmac Works, Aftershock PC, Prism+, Pik Nik, all valued partners who have been supportive of LOR in its journey so far.
The LOR Racing team has also added 19-year-old Indonesian Syaukat Takuma to the mix, who will act as a team manager for Legion of Racers. His appointment set to help the LOR team further improve the structure and overall management of the team.
Said Takuma, “2023 will be my first year with LOR as a team manager. This will be a new experience for me, getting to know and used to a new environment quickly to be able to immediately deliver. I am confident in my abilities to live up to the expectations especially with the team we have here.”
